It is with great pride and honor that I greet you through this page. Being the Principal of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur College of Education is a humbling and ennobling experience which one cherishes with great humility. As we look forward to the future, we envision Shri Guru Teg Bahadur College of Education as an institute that provides the knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes and beliefs that are essential for a productive and successful life. We recognize that these goals are best achieved when the institute provides an environment in which Teacher Educators, Staff and others develop and practice core values that benefit the academic, emotional and social needs of all Pupil Teachers. Shri Guru Teg Bahadur College of Education produces teachers of analytical mind, creative thinking and problem solving skills needed in today’s global economy. The broad goal of the college is to ensure all round excellence and efficiency in teacher education. The college with it progressive outlook, dynamic leadership and immense goodwill from Parents, alumni and well wishers has grown into an important Centre for Teacher Education. It has developed good infrastructure facilities and offers relevant academic programs for achieving Degree of Bachelor of Education and Master in Arts (Education).The College is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala and is recognized by NCTE. It has been accredited by NAAC with B Grade for its academic and administrative performance. Dedicated and experienced Faculty, Quality Reference Books, Conductive Research Culture, Good Student Support System, Efficient Governance and Administrative System are special features of this college.

So, our endeavour should be to add new dimensions to this vibrant center of excellence, so that it keeps growing meaningfully. We know that the pursuit of excellence is an on-going process.
